Meet Joe, the driving force behind Slide Away Campers! As a small family business with a big passion for van life, we've been living and breathing the VW van culture for over a decade.

Joe earned his stripes at DG Camper Group and Spartan Camper Vans Group, one of the UK's top aftermarket converters. With ten years of hands-on experience under his belt, he's mastered the art of transforming ordinary vans into extraordinary adventures on wheels.

But Joe's journey doesn't stop there. Now based on Australia’s stunning Gold Coast, he's forged close ties with VW in the UK, learning the ins and outs of these iconic vehicles like the back of his hand. From tinkering with engines to perfecting cabinetry, he's done it all – and he's loved every minute of it.
